TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Approximately 1,000 guests from various parties will enliven the main event of Suksma Bali on December 15, 2018. President Joko `Jokowi` Widodo reportedly will also attend the event.
Suksma Bali is a grand event with a social mission to preserve Bali with its nature, culture, art, and social tradition. The agenda is an initiative from senior figures in the tourism sector in 2008. “Yet, this event is first held this year,” said Ramia Adnyana, deputy head of Suksma Bali committee, in Denpasar, Thursday, November 15.
According to Ramia, Suksma Bali is a spiritual event to reflect gratefulness and honor for being blessed with life. The main events are divided into three programs. First, the World Clean Up Day which had been successfully established in last September in 29 areas across Bali simultaneously, involving 27,000 participants.

The second program is a symposium themed Bali Host Meets Supporters which is an event to unite stakeholders in Bali and supporters from multiple parties to have a discussion about improvements for Bali in the future. The symposium would take place on December 7.
Meanwhile, the main event is Suksma Bali on December 15 with Suksma Bali Gala Dinner and Awarding Night which will involve 1,000 guests.
Ramia, who is also deputy head of Indonesian Hotel General Manager Association (IHGMA), said his side will hold a declaration of Say No To Plastic during the symposium.
“Suksma Bali is such a movement of mental revolution in the lives of Bali people, and it directly invites all parties to be grateful for all things they get from Bali,” he remarked.
