SBY Wants to be Prabowo-Sandiaga Campaigner

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A member of the Gerindra Party`s Board of Trustees, Djoko Santoso, said Democrat Party General Chairperson Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) has requested to become the national campaigner for the Prabowo-Sandiaga campaign team.

"He (SBY) asked to be a campaign partner for the Prabowo-Sandiaga pair," Djoko said at Prabowo`s residence, on Jalan Kertanegara, on Wednesday night.

Djoko said SBY wanted to go to the field and would do much to gain votes in East Java.

According to him, the advisory position in the Prabowo-Sandiaga Winning Team could be done while walking.

"SBY wants to go directly to the Prabowo-Sandiaga winning team," he said.

Previously, the Democratic Party`s DPP Advocacy and Legal Aid Division Head Ferdinand Hutahaen ensured that SBY was Prabowo`s special advisor, not an advisor to the Prabowo-Sandiaga winning team.

In addition, according to him, the Kogasma Commander, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) will be the Prabowo-Sandiaga coalition Steering Team and also become the National Campaigner (Jurkamnas).
