TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Another earthquake rocked Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara on Wednesday, August 22, at 21:50 local time. According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.1 on the Richter scale.
"This earthquake does not have a potential to cause a tsunami," said the earthquake's early warning issued by the BMKG.

The agency further informed that the earthquake's epicenter was Sumbawa region at 8.15 South Latitude and 116.82 East Longitude at a depth of 10 kilometers.
So far, there has been no information about the damages caused or victims.
On August 5, Lombok was rocked by an earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale. The earthquake took 436 lives and left 352,793 people displaced from their homes.
