TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Colombian Embassy in Jakarta has scheduled the 2016 Colombian Film Festival on December 2 and last until December 4, 2016, that will screen a selection of five films and documentaries.
With the aim of promoting the cultural production of Colombia, during a weekend in Jakarta, audience is expected to enjoy five films that have the support and recognition from the Academy Awards, Cinema Festival in San Sebastian, Mar del Plata International Film Festival, Havana Festival, Film Festival in Lima, Platinum Awards, Fenix Film Awards and Latin American Cinema Foundation out of many others.
The opening of the Festival will take place on Friday, December 2, 2016, with a private screening of "The Embrace of the Serpent". The screenings on December 3 and 4 will be open to the public at the CGV Blitz movie theaters in the Grand Indonesia shopping mall, Central Jakarta.
