TEMPO.CO, Bandung - An animal-welfare organization Indonesian Society For Animal Welfare (ISAW) presents wildlife-themed game Jalak and Pora. Aimed to raise people’s awareness towards wildlife conservation, the game features adventure of two characters, starling and Pora fish.
The game was developed by Miracle Gates Studio and NED Studio to answer challenge launched in Dicoding.com. Dicoding.com is a local website claims to function as developers hub that launch series of challenges for tech communities.
“We hope that this game would raise more awareness to the people about critical condition of Balinese starling, which is on the brink of extinction due to poaching and smuggling,” said Orlando Nandito, the founder of Miracle Gates Studio when contacted via telephone on Saturday.
The game is available for free of charge in Play Store.
“A way to eradicate wildlife trade is by reducing demand through creative campaigns to raise people’s awareness,” said Kinanti Kusumawardani, Executive Director of ISAW.
