TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Fashion Festival Run that will be held on the upcoming June 7 in Senayan City allows runners to wear outfits that they like. The organizer will distribute grey t-shirts to both men and women so that they can mix-match the t-shirts with other outfits.
“Running nowadays is not only about health, but it has become a lifestyle. So why don’t we combine running with fashion?” said Maruli Manurung, the founder of Avemedia Gemilang who is the organizer of the event, in a press conference in Jakarta just recently.
The firstly-held Fashion Festival Run will kick start at 06.00 in the morning from Senayan City along Asia-Afrika street and return to Senayan City. The running distance is 5 kilometers in total with estimated one hour time. Every Rp5000 of the Rp255,000 registration fee will be donated to educational foundation and foundations for the disables.
The event will be part of Jakarta Great Sale Festival and is supported by DKI Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency.
The event is open for participants aged 10 to 50s.
