TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Apple’s highly-anticipated smart watches Apple Watch were distributed in Asia on Friday, April 24 in an unusually quiet way as the stocks are only available for those who have pre-ordered the watch online. Queues were only seen in certain stores in Japan, Hongkong, China, and Australia.
In Tokyo, at least there is a non-Apple outlet that sells the product to customers. Meanwhile in Chine, the main market of the watch, people crowd online media to write testimonials about their newly-bought Apple Watch.
Apple Watch is tagged from USD349 (Rp4.5 million) to USD10,000 (Rp129 million) for the gold-coated, limited edition.
