TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After the Galaxy Tab 4 received a 64-bit processor upgrade earlier this month, Samsung returns with the next generation Tab, the Galaxy Tab 5.
According to TENAA, a Chinese technology company, the pair of devices will come with an 8.0-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
Both devices will support quad-core CPUs, clocked at 1.2 GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
However, both models showed a slight difference. The SM-P355C is registered as being a little heavier than the SM-T355C, and only available in white color.
The camera setup on the P variant is also described in more details. The tablet is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Judging from its photos, the T variant will also come with two cameras, most likely to be the same.
Both the P and T variants will run Android Lollipop and come with a stylus, known as the S Pen, similar to Samsung's Note series, which will allegedly reside in the upper right corner of the Galaxy Tab 5.
In dimension, the Tab 5 will be thinner than its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab 4, but might possibly be a little shorter and wider.
