TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An Indonesian short movie entitled ‘A Lady Caddy Who Never Saw a Hole in One’ won three awards at the 2014 Short Shorts Film Festival and Asia. The film festival is being held in Osaka, Japan.
The film directed by Yosep Anggi Noen also grabbed the Grand Prix, Asia International Competition Best Short Award and Tokyo Governor’ Award in the same festival. In 15 minutes, the film presented a story about golf and its love tale that happened on the golf court at the Yogyakarta suburbs.
Yosep’s movie had previously won Sonje Awards in the 18th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in 2013.
Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia is one of the biggest short movie festivals in Asia that is aimed to promote Asian short films and develop the skill of young Asian directors and producers. More than 4,264 films from 27 countries were submitted to the festival.
