TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - On its official blog, BlackBerry introduces a new feature that will come with the BlackBerry OS 10.3 on BlackBerry Passport hardware. The new feature is called the BlackBerry Assistant that works similar to Microsoft’s Cortana and Apple’s Siri.
TechCrunch reported that the Assistant is displayed as the now-omnipresent 'microphone in a circle' icon to tell users where to press to get it to start working, and it offers helpful shortcuts for certain actions, like sending a BBM, a text, an email or checking the weather.
It learns as the users use it and can be called up by a voice just like Google Now on the latest version of Android.
A post on the blog said: "The BlackBerry Assistant will keep you organized, informed and productive."
