Jokowi Man Game Flap. Play.google.com

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Hadi, a game developer from Shayort Games has created a game called 'Flap Jokowi Bird' amid Jokowi’s bid for presidency. "Jokowi is a popular figure. I hope this game can be popular," Hadi told Tempo yesterday.

Hadi was tempted by other game and app developers to create a game about the Jakarta governor. "But so many of those games and apps are just too simple and halfhearted," he said.

Hadi then tried to develop a game that is simple, but a little serious with a clear goal. "I ended up incorporated flappy bird-like concept due to its simple gameplay," he said, which later created 'Flap Jokowi Bird'.

The game is similar to Flappy Bird gameplay. The difference is that the yellow bird is replaced by Jokowi who wears a purple superhero costume with Superman cape and initial 'J' on Jokowi’s chest.

Like Flappy Bird, Jokowi has to go through several obstacles. The green pipes are replaced with fists holding a bundle of money. "They show Jokowi fighting against corruption," Hadi said.

In the future, Hadi wants to make updates for this game. "I hope the publication in Google Play will invite good suggestions for the improvement of this game."
