TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Social network website DapurMasak has sold 60 percent of its shares to Cookpad for US$600,000, following to earlier acquisition of 40 percent of its share by the same investor.
According to DapurMasak founder, Soeiganto Widjaja, the website will continue to run as a part of Cookpad Global. Widjaja said the acquisition is a part of a long journey to develop cooking tradition in families. Thus, he believed that he has made the right decision to join Cookpad Global.
"The team of DapurMasak will strive to build the best platform allowing users to share happiness through Indonesian cooking recipes," he said.
DapurMasak was one of the startup companies that received Indonesia ICT Award in 2012.
