Papua KPU Office Catches Fire
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The General Elections Commission (KPU) office in Central Memberamo, Papua, caught fire a day after the regional head elections. However, it is still uncertain what caused the fire. Papua Police spokesman Adj. Sr. Comr. I Gede Sumerta Jaya said the fire occurred at 2 a.m. local time on Wednesday, January 30. “We’re still investigating the cause,” said the spokesman.
