Bali Crowned World's Best Sunset Spots by UK-based Travel Agency

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Many tourists visit places to catch the magical view of the setting sun. The reddish-orange hue of the skies creates a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. 

A UK-based travel agency Titan Travel dived into social media Instagram and TikTok to discover the most photogenic sunset spots. Apparently, Bali is at the top of the list, here is the list as follows:

1. Bali, Indonesia

Bali Island has been described as the most photogenic sunset spot for its beautiful beaches with more than 182,000 Instagram posts. The best places to watch the sun go down are the beaches along the west coast as the view features historic temples.

2. Santorini, Greece

Santorini comes in second with more than 150,000 Instagram posts dedicated to romantic sunsets. The most popular spot is the Oia village on the north of the island with picturesque views of the town’s blue-domed churches.

3. Ibiza, Spain

Ibiza takes third place with more than 120,000 Instagram posts of orange, pink, purple, and red hues of skies every evening over Spain's Mediterranean Sea. The spectacular views are from the beaches of Cala Conta and the shores of San Antonio Bay.

4. Maui, Hawaii, United States

Maui comes next with more than 120,000 sunset posts on social media. Some of its best places include Kapalua Bay for its white sand and rocky beaches. This island, which was recently devastated by wildfires, offers panoramic views of Haleakala Volcano, making it the perfect location to watch the sunset.

5. San Diego, United States of America

San Diego has many beautiful places to watch the sunset. With over 96,000 Instagram posts, the city on California's southern coast offers Sunset Cliffs and Shelter Island Marina Walkway as some of its best sunset spots.
