Luhut, Prabowo Attend Indonesia Economic Forum

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia Economic Forum (IEF) is held at the Jakarta Shangrila Hotel today, November 21. Among the people scheduled to attend are the president and vice president candidate Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno.


This year is the 5th annual IEF. The theme is "Setting the Right Agenda: Connectivity is Key", highlighting connectivity as strategic key to today's life developments, including in the fields of economic.


As speakers of the event, Prabowo and Sandiaga are scheduled to attend at different time slots. Prabowo is set to give a keynote address at 10:00 with the title "The Path Ahead for Indonesia."


Sandiaga will be at the venue at 15:00 as one of the speaker in a discussion dubbed "The Importance of Boosting Starts-ups in Job Creation."


State officials will also come to the event, including Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan. He will discuss the government's economic policies as a priority for the administration period of 2019-2024. His address will be the closing of this year's IEF.
