TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia’s largest technology exhibition Indocomtech is officially opened today, Oct 31 until Nov 4 in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Central Jakarta. The 26th show has become the benchmark of technology development in Indonesia.

“Indocomtech has been held for 26 times, and that is our achievement since this time, foreigners also attend and be participants. Welcome to Indocomtech, the best computer exhibition in Indonesia,” said Apkomindo Indonesia Foundation head Hidayat Cokrojoyo during his speech in JCC today, Oct. 31.

Carrying theme of Technology for Everyone, the show was a collaboration between Apkomindo Indonesia Foundation and PT Traya Eksibisi International or Traya Events. The exhibition of new products from various brands, talk shows, technology innovation from Indonesian, clearance sale up to 90 percent discount, and door prizes for visitors would enliven the exhibit.

“This shows that technology is for everyone. I am proud Indonesia is not as bad as we expect, but we continue to develop and will be the best country in Asia and globally,” Hidayat said.

Communication and Information Ministry appreciated the initiative through the Indocomtech establishment. The exhibition was expected as a lesson material and inspiration for the next development of technology using business solution to face the future.

“We always support inspiration from the industry to deal with technology development and business solution. Each industry requires innovation based on current development. Otherwise, we will get stuck,” said Firmansyah Lubis, an official of the ministry, on behalf of the minister.
