Jokowi Ask People Not to be Influenced by Politician

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko `Jokowi` Widodo called on the society not to be affected by politicians whom he considered commonly lured people to create an issue on unsubstantial matters.
“That’s what a politician good at, persuading people. So, don’t be influenced [by politician],” said Jokowi in his speech when opening a forum at State Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, September 20.

For example, Jokowi mentioned the last worthless issue that became public limelight when a stuntman acted as himself for extreme scene video in the opening ceremony of 2018 Asian Games. “We must maintain our unity and harmony, don’t let the election to vote mayor, regent, governor, or president that takes place once in every five years ruin social relations,” President Jokowi added.
