TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The first date is precisely the earliest period of relationship with a partner. Therefore, create a good first impression so that your partner will not give up.

In order for the first date to go well, you should avoid the following topics, quoted from Youqueen:

1. Ex-lover

Your loved one, someone who is now by your side, not someone in your past. Discussing your ex-lover on the first date is tantamount to telling your partner that your ex-lover is a special person and irreplaceable.

2. Lives of others

Talking about others people is a bad behavior. It is the same as gossiping. Not necessarily that what you and your partner are talking about is true.

3. Food menu

On the first date in the restaurant, we certainly order food to eat. However, if your partner suddenly asked, “Why do you eat that? That contains high calorie, lots of fat.” Fussing about the food eaten by your partner on the first date not only spoils the atmosphere of dating but also will ruin your partner’s mood.

4. Economy and politics

Do you want your first date not to be boring? If yes, do not discuss politics, economics, finance, and the like. Besides boring, you and your partner are also not necessarily understood about the topics. You may even be involved in a coachman debate because of differences in opinion.

5. Dreaming of a wedding party

Remember, this is the first date, still in the early stages. You and your partner have not known each other. Discussing a marriage on a first date will only make your partner get nervous because it feels like being terrorized for a direct commitment.
