TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani predicts that the state income will have an excess of Rp8 trillion from the initial 2018 state budget (APBN), which is a combination of non-tax (PNBP) and tax income.
“We predict that there will be a 100 percent improvement or Rp8 trillion higher from a combination of non-tax and tax income,” said Sri Mulyani at the House of Representatives (DPR) on Tuesday, July 10.
The target of the 2018 APBN amounts to Rp1,984.7 trillion, while in fact, the state income has managed to collect 36.16 percent or Rp685.06 trillion up until March.
However, Sri Mulyani is still reluctant to reveal the complete data and stated that she will announce the first-semester report to DPR members on July 13, including the first semester studies and the 2018 overall report.
Furthermore, the details of the tax income development up until May of 2018 is as follows; Rp484.50 trillion from tax income and Rp54.16 trillion from customs and excise. Sri Mulyani said that the realization of the PNBP up to May 31 has reached 52.65 percent (Rp144.99 trillion) from its Rp275.43 trillion target.
