TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The owner of a coffee stall SoulBytes, Ilario Colli, encouraged the coffee drinker in his cafe to understand the philosophy of life. “SoulBytes want to remind and appeal the visitor to have a rich and meaningful life,” said Ilario Colli in a press release received by Tempo days ago.
SoulBytes served the coffee with its philosophy written on a piece of paper. Ilario Colli adopted the school of life concept initiated by the philosopher Alain de Botton. Thus he designed his cafe with nature element as he expected the visitors to more engaging to the environment and the living place.
“Such interaction is often forgotten as the world is dominated by developed technology and the human is surrounded by many activities,” he noted.
Located in Jl. Petitenget, Seminyak, Bali, SoulBytes served coffee in a contemporary data-style using local coffee bean which is processed manually and roasted directly by the baristas with modern equipment.
Other than coffee and its philosophy, there is a Hug Spot in the corner of the stall where the visitor can stand there for hugs. The statue of Socrates, the Greek philosopher, will welcome the visitor in the front door.
In addition, visitors can also order western or local meals such as breakfast bruschetta, eggs benedict, mushroom truffled eggs, organic veggie fried rice, or even pancake at SoulBytes.
