TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Private lender Bank Central Asia (BCA) stated the total of cash to be allocated at the branch office and ATM duringEid al-Fitr holiday is up to Rp41 trillion.
Director of BCA Santoso said the additional request for Ramadan and Eid is estimated around 5 to 8 percent compared to regular months.
“We are already prepared the cash of up to Rp41 trillion in the ATM and branch offices. Every year, it increases around 5-8 percent depending on the economic condition,” he said.
Santoso claimed that the government had calculated the amount based on its policy on holiday.
As for the operations during the facultative holiday, BCA is still waiting for the policy of Bank of Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
“After that, we have to set up branches that provide services. BCA is ready to give services during Eid-Fitr holidays," he said.
