TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Heavy rain that hit Jakarta and its vicinity since noon has left Jalan Adityawarman in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, flooded.


Tempo observed that knee-high waters have flooded the area. As of press time, the flood has not receded yet.

South Jakarta government official Irawan told Tempo in a phone interview that his office was handling the flood.


Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Management Center Twitter account says that heavy rain has left several areas in South Jakarta flooded, including Taman Dharmawangsa, Jalan Denpasar and Gandaria City Mall.
