Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun to Visit Indonesia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun will visit Indonesia on September 27.


It is yet unknown what the agenda of Lei Jun visit to Indonesia will be. Based on an invitation received by Tempo, the CEO of Xiaomi will share the latest innovation, which is one of the Chinese-based company’s main focuses.


“The Xiaomi Way of Innovation,” the invitation letter says without going into the details about the innovation.


Lei Jun is China’s 23rd richest person according to Forbes. Jun founded Xiaomi on April 6, 2010. He is often called China’s Steve Job.


Earlier on September 20, Xiaomi launched its latest product Xiaomi Mi A1 in Indonesia. Mi A1 is the first Android One phone made by Xiaomi combining the company’s hardware innovation and Google’s Android One software. The smartphone features the most popular built-in Google services such as Google Photos’ high-quality unlimited storage.
