1. Do not carry too many items

Carrying too many items will be a hassle.Traveling alone with many items will attract the attention of thieves. Due to that, bring as little goods as you can. The length of your holiday should determine how many items you bring. Reducing the contents of your bag will make your journey more comfortable.

2. Choose a hotel in a busy location

To save money during the holidays, cheap hotels or inns are always a good choice. Avoid staying in quiet areas which are prone to crime. Remember, you are traveling alone. So, make sure to minimize the risk of theft for the convenience of the holiday. Look for accommodations that are in crowded places and facilitate mobility.

3. Keep cash in a separate place

Many people keep all their money in their wallet. When traveling, try not to put all your money in your wallet. One should place their cash in a variety of places, such as in a backpack, in a pocket, in a jacket pocket, and even in a shoe. If you experience theft, not all of your money will be gone.

4. Find information

Before leaving, find out as much information as possible about the intended location, such as public transport access, tourist destinations to visit, and also the location of cheap hotels. If you already know the location well, you do not have to worry about getting lost, and the holiday will be more comfortable and relaxing.

5. Simple look

Although you will be recognized an immigrant or tourist, you should keep it simple. Avoid wearing lots of jewelry or valuables, such as large cameras. If possible, just simply use your watch and carry a pocket camera.

6. Avoid traveling at night

Of course, there are destinations that are best when at night. But for the sake of security, you should try to not travel at night. There is a higher risk for theft and crime at night. Try to visit the tourist attractions that are open during the day, so you can spend the night time to rest.
