Palyja's water billing on WhatsApp Won Top 99 Public Service Innovations

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Today, not only Whatsapp can be used for messaging but also to read the Palyja water meter independently. The innovation to read the water billing using WhatsApp and SMS (Short Message Service) that was started in 2015, was awarded the Top 99 Public Service Innovation on Saturday, May 20, 2017, by the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Asman Abnur. The award was received by Palyja director of customer service operations M. Adhi Resza during the event that was held at Joko Samudro Stadium in Gresik, East Java.


Palyja's innovation was selected in the Public Innovation Competition out of 1,372 other innovations from all over Indonesia. This government award is an important recognition for Palyja representing PAM Jaya and DKI Jakarta.


Palyja president director Alan Thompson in his press release congratulated the Director of Customer Service and the Meters Reading & Billing Collection team for demonstrating innovation excellence. Alan said that the award is not only a reflection of the team's overall effort to bring an innovation, but also a testament to the company's commitment to always improving its performance.(*)
