Tax Amnesty Total Assets Declared Rp3,959tn

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The value of assets declared by tax amnesty participants as of November 29, 2016, had reached Rp 3,959 trillion. The biggest declaration value is from domestic assets, which reached Rp 2,830 trillion.
Meanwhile, the amount of assets repatriated from overseas reached Rp 143 trillion or 14.3 percent of the targeted Rp 1,000 trillion.
According to data released by the Finance Ministry's Tax Directorate General, the value of reported assets comprises of domestic net assets (71.48 percent), overseas net assets (24.90 percent), and repatriated assets (3.61 percent).
Based on said figures, the amount of retribution paid by tax amnesty participants is currently Rp 98.9 trillion or 59.93 percent of the Rp 165-trillion target.
