Bogor Botanical Garden Closed Due to Strong Winds

"Since last night (Saturday night), the wind has been blowing above normal until now. We would like to inform that Bogoe botanical garden is temporarily closed,” said Upun Punijar, an official at the garden on Sunday.
According to Upun, the closure was done for the safety of visitors.
"We want to avoid unwanted things from happening. Due to the strong winds, many branches of the trees have broken and many trees have also fallen down,” he said, adding that since the strong wind happened on Saturday, at least three trees in the garden have fallen down.
