Charlotte Clash; KJRI Urges Indonesian to Stay Alert

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Foreign Minister through the consulate general of Indonesia (KJRI) in New York has suggested all Indonesians in the state, especially those living in Charlotte, North Carolina, to stay alert - in light of the recent clash.
The clash in Charlotte had rooted from the shooting of an African-American Keith Lamont Scott.
"The consulate general has suggeted all Indonesians in Charlotte to remain alert and avoid clashes," the statement read, Friday, September 23.
KJRI has urged the Indonesians to obey the rule and security procedure. “Pay attention to the safety of your self and your family, and remain updated on the news related to the action.”
In the recent clash, police dispersed tear gas to dismissed the raging crowd. The angry mob was on motion to seek justice for the death of Scott (43), who was shot when he was reading a book while waited for his child come back from school.
