TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Cabinet Secretary, Pramono Anung, urged state officials to participate in the tax amnesty program. Pramono said that tax amnesty is not only aimed at business owners, but also other individuals.
"Because it applies to everyone, so there can be no discrimination," Pramono said at his office on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
Pramono added that state officials’ involvement in tax amnesty will help in increasing public confidence towards the program. Pramono said that the government wants to show the public that the program runs well.
Pramono also applauded state officials who have took part in the program, and added that state officials should serve as role models for the public. "[Those who have participated] will sleep better," Pramono said.
