Budi Gunawan Undergoes the House`s Fit and Proper Test

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The House of Representatives (DPR) runs fit and proper test to the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) chief candidate, Comr. Gen. Budi Gunawan today.
Budi said that he is ready to expose his visions, missions, and programs. He added that he will optimize all resources, including from the Armed Force - although he hails from the police.
In the test, Head of the Intelligence Commission, Abdul Kharis Almasyhari, said that DPR will highlights Budi's proficiency on state intelligence. "BIN should have a good leader in facing threats against Indonesia," he said.
Budi Gunawan is nominated by President as the new chief of BIN. Jokowi has sent a letter to the DPR on Friday, September 2.
