TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A dead body was found Thursday in a sewage system near a gas station on Jalan Fatmawati, Cilandak, South Jakarta. Cilandak Police chief Comr. Sujanto has confirmed the report. “The body was allegedly stucked in the sewer,” Sujanto said.
A siomay vendor was the one who discovered the body. Earlier, he smelled foul odor from the sewage system. Upon closer inspection, the vendor saw human leg in it. “The only visible part [of the body] was its leg,” Sujanto said.
The indentity of the dead body is still unkown. It has been taken to Fatmawati Hospital for further identification. “The victim was allegedly killed,” Sujanto said.
