Overcast Conditions to Linger over Greater Jakarta on Sunday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that overcast conditions have been forecasted throughout the Greater Jakarta region for throughout the morning. Similar conditions are expected to linger until the evening - with the exception of South and East Jakarta, whose residents should expect some light showers in the afternoon of July 31, 2016.


Similar overcast conditions are also expected across Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Bogor - but the conditions will change beginning in the afternoon, where precipitation are to be expected until the evening.


Elsewhere in Indonesia, cloudy skies have also been forecasted for Semarang, Yogykarta, Surabaya, and Bandung - while light showers have been predicted for Serang on Sunday, July 31, 2016.


Similarly in Sumatra, cloudy skies have also been forecasted for Sumatra, Banda Aceh, Batam and Jambi, while Medan, Padang, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Bengkulu, and Bandar Lampung residents should expected some light rainfall on Sunday.


In Kalimantan, light showers have been predicted for Pontianak, Samarinda, Palangkaraya, and Banjarmasin - while in Sulawesi, similar conditions have been forecasted in Manado, Gorontalo, Palu, and Kendari.


Meanwhile in Makassar, cloudy skies are expected to hang over the city on Sunday,


According to BMKG, moderate showers have been predicted for Ambon, Jayapura, Sorong, Merauke and Biak, while Manokwari is due to experience some light showers at the end of this weekend.
