Executions: 14 Coffins Shipped to Nusakambangan

TEMPO.CO, Cilacap - Authorities have shipped 14 coffins to Nusakambangan Penitentiary, Cilacap, Central Java, ahead of the death row executions. Meanwhile, the 14 death row inmates have been sent to isolation chambers.
Previously, Attorney General M. Prasetyo, has confirmed that there will be 14 convicts executed. The convicts are not only from Indonesia, but also from other countries such as Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, India, and China.
Prasetyo added that the execution will take place this weekend at the latest. But he has yet to name the day.
The Foreign Ministry has also sent a notifications to other countries, whose citizens are in the death row convicts list.
Meanwhile at the Wijaya Pura Port, Cilacap, security has been doubled. There are in total of 1,460 personnel deployed to secure the executions.
