TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bogor City Administration has built a park for children, to help them escape the now-booming Pokemon Go. "We want to build a park to help them avoid Pokemon Go," said Bogor Mayor, Bima Arya Sugiarto, on Monday, July 25, 2016.
Bima said that the park, named "Taman Kaulinan", is specifically designed for kids, presenting a string of traditional games. "We have equipped this park with traditional games like gatrik, engklek, engrang, treehouse, and giant snake-and-ladder." he said.
He added that "Taman Kaulinan" is the first outdoor playground for children in Bogor. "It can be the center of interraction for the people," he said.
The mayor has been quite critical about the augmented-reality game and said that everyone should play it responsibly. He added player should prioritize safety over gaming pleasure.
