Bandung Receives Scholarship from British Government

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bandung City officials have recently received scholarship offer from the British Government. "The British Ambassador has granted a dozen scholarships for Bandung civil servants," said bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil on Wednesday, July 20, 2016.
Ridwan said that there are 20 civil servants who will receive the scholarships. The selected officials, accroding to Ridwan, will study accounting in Bandung with lecturers from both England and Indonesia.
"The grant is valued at around Rp 700 million," he said.
Ridwan Kamil said that the scholarship can help increase the civil servants quality, and help the city achieve Unqualified Opinion for its financial statement. "Unqualified Opinion is our target next year," Ridwan said.
