Jusuf Kalla Opens ACI Congress Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The World Congress Cambiste-Internationale-Financial Market Association (ACI-FMA) will be open by Vice President Jusuf Kalla on Friday, Apr 29. The congress held until April 30th will have a Unity in Diversity theme.


The congress is a container for financial professionals throughout the globe to build networking, as well as discussing business opportunities and challanges today. “And purposes to increase the role of Indonesia in the economic world,” said a release from ACI-FMA.


Today, the congress will be attended by Financial Service Authority Board of Commissioner Chief Muliaman Hadad, Bank Indonesia Governor Agus Martowardojo, CT Corporation CEO Chairul Tanjung, and Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro.


The panel discussion on the first day will talk about how to control new economic sectors. Afterwards, the panel discussion continues with the discussion on uncertainties of economic recovery and volatility of world financial market.


On the second day, the panel discussion will be continued by discussing strategy to survive amid an economic surge. Then, the panel discussion will also talk about trade growth in the future and also syaria banking.


ACI World Congress itself is a congress for financial maerket players to meet and share their views on industry trends. The congress first held in 1957 took place in Milan, Berlin, Singapore, and also Dubai.
