TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The House of Representatives held its final plenary meeting to close its fourth plenary period for 2015-2016 today, April 29, 2016. The House will then enter its recess period and resume working on May 17, 2016.

"Today is the closing of the fourth plenary period. We will return to office on May 17, 2016," said House speaker Ade Komarudin on Friday, April 29, 2016.

Today's plenary session will only discuss a fit and proper test related to the appointment of a Public Accountant Office that will examine the Supreme Audit Agency.

"That is the only agenda for the meeting, requesting an approval, which has been previously discussed by Commission XI," Ade said.

The meeting, Ade said, will not discuss the dismissal of House Deputy Speaker Fahri Hamzah form the Justice and Prosperity Party, nor manage to pass a single law, not even the urgent Tax Amnesty Draft Bill or the Regional Election Draft Bill.
