TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Bali has been named as the fifth best island in the world, defeating Bora-bora and Thailand's Phuket.

Meanwhile, Bali is named as the best island in Asia because of the beauty of its tropical temperature in Indonesia.

Asia-Pacific TripAdvisor Communication Director Janice Lee Fang said that Bali was one of the travelers' favorite islands. “Because Bali is rich in sunlight, sands, and sea lovers. Data of hotel bookings via TripAdvisor showed savings of about 24 percent can be achieved if you book your holiday at every top island in Asia during the holiday season,” Fang told Bisnis.com.

A holiday in summer is considered as the most expensive time where travelers can still enjoy amazing weather.

Indonesian Tourism Ministry said in a statement, “Indonesia is a state of archipelago with thousands of beautiful islands that offer spectacular sceneries, unique environment, and vast biodiversity to be explored.”
