TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Chief of National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Comr. Gen. Budi Waseso said that he is likely to opt to Madura for his ideal medieval narcotics prison. He mentioned that his prison will be heavily fortified and surrounded by crocodiles and piranhas.
The island he was referring is located at Kangean Islands, Sumenep, East Java. This contradicts his previous statement that the island will be on the outer ring of Indonesia.
"It already has an old correctional facility. We might add a river containing crocodiles and piranhas," said Budi Waseso. "Let them rot and wait for death penalty there."
Budi Waseso added that he will send a team to take care of the facility, asking the Law and Human Rights Ministry.
