TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-After announcing the third economic policy package, President Joko Widodo’s administration is now focused on formulating regulations, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution told Tempo, Thursday, October 8.

The regulation-related policy shortens the time need to process land rights and solves the minimum wage issue. The minimum wage calculation is expected to finish this week.

Darmin said the minimum wage formula that will be announced will face pros and cons. However, he said the formula is advantageous for workers and can be accepted by businessmen. He hoped all problems in the economic sector can be solved.

He said the third economic policy package will not show its effect immediately. He predicted that the effect will be seen next year on industrial growth.

“However, from now until next year, we will finish other matters,” Darmin told Tempo.

Several points in the third economic policy package is believed to be able to boost the industrial sector, especially the revision of Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministerial Decree No. 2/2015 about Service Standards and Agrarian Regulation. “Simplifying the procedure for land rights is a big change.”
