TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Eva Chairunisa, PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek Communications Manager said that the Jakarta Kota-Manggarai line has been reopened following the recent train crash. "Two lines of the Jakarta Kota-Manggarai route can be travelled by trains," Eva said on Thursday morning, September 24, 2015.
Eva added that evacuation of the crashed train at Juanda station has been completed on 6:20 A.M. Western Indonesia Time. Previously, two commuterline trains serving the Jakarta Kota-Bogor route crashed at Juanda Station in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
The accident injured 42 people who later receved medical treatment at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Husada Hospital, and the Gatot Subroto Indonesian Army Central Hospital (RSPAD). Eva said that this morning, 12 of the injured victims were still receiving medical treatment at the RSPAD and the Husada Hospital.
