TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Senior Politician of the National Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), Pramono Anung, said that economy team of the working cabinet should be able to cope with the ongoing global crisis. He added that global economy is on a slow lane, especially following Greece’s financial collapse which might impact Indonesia.
"President needs to think of a person of experience in order to anticipate economic matter in time of crisis," said Pramono on Tuesday July 7.
However, Pramono refused to name if Sri Mulyani and Darmin Nasution meet the requirement, given their qualification in dealing with financial crisis. "Reshuffle is president’s prerogative right," said Pramono.
Nevertheless, Pramono claimed that reshuffle discussion does not come to a deadlock. President is believed to take the right momentum, namely after Eid celebration by the end of this month.
