TEMPO.CO, Bogor – House of Representatives (DPR) speaker Setya Novanto said that President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo already had the records to evaluate his ministers’ performance but declined to reveal the evaluation results.

“[The ministers’ performance] has been evaluated,” Novanto said in Bogor on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.

Earlier, Vice President Jusuf “JK” Kalla indicated a plan to reshuffle the cabinet to improve its performance without revealing the exact date.

“Surely, [a reshuffle] will be conducted in the near future,” JK said at the Vice Presidential office.

Novanto said that the decision to reshuffle the cabinet lies in Jokowi’s hands, since the president was the one with complete knowledge on his ministers’ achievement, credibility and loyalty.

“It has been six months [since the inauguration]. The president should know what needs to be done,” Novanto said.

Novanto was seen with Jokowi during the inauguration of the IPC Corporate University. Also attending the inauguration were State-owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno, Coordinating Economic Minister Sofjan Djalil, Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjajanto, People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) speaker Zulkifli Hasan, Regional Representative Council (DPD) speaker Irman Gusman, West Java Deputy Governor Deddy Mizwar, and Pelindo president director R.J. Lino.
