TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government is drafting a new regulation on labor's wage. "We are preparing its draft," said Manpower and Transmigration Minister Hanif Dhakiri on Friday.
Hanif said the new law would regulate an annual raise for workers. "We're preparing the formula," said Hanif.
The ministry is in talks for the formula with related parties, including entrepreneurs. "The formula will calculate the salary raise every year," said Hanif.
Hanif said he wanted to draw on May Day as a momentum to build ties with all stakeholders. "Building productive and healthy ties with fellow stakeholders," he said.
