Govt Ready to Explain Badrodin's Nomination as Police Chief

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government is ready to give explanations to the house of parliament regarding the cancellation of inaugurating Comm.Gen. Budi Gunawan and nominates Comm.Gen. Badrodin Haiti as Chief of National Police.
“Depends on what the invitation will be like, we from the government have prepared answers for the house of Parliament,” Coordinating Minister for Political, Security and Law Edhi Purdijatno told reporters at Halim Perdanakusuma Jakarta on Sunday.
Edhi said the government is still awaiting the invitation by the house of parliament related to who will be explaining the issue to the board.
Previously, a number of people in the parliament gave questioned the President’s decision in nominating Comm.Gen. Badrodin Haiti to perform feasibility test in the house of parliament, where previously a feasibility test have been conducted towards Comm.Gen. Budi Gunawan.
