Queen Hemas Receives Reproduction Health Award

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The Indonesian Family Planning Association gave an award to the Empress of Yogyakarta Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hemas (Queen Hemas) on Monday. The wife of Yogyakarta Governor being given an award in the field of sexual health and teenage reproduction.
“The award is given because she is a volunteer of PKBI and have given a huge contribution,” said Head of PKBI Public Relations Devi Fitriana.
The award was directly given to Queen Hemas on 10:30am local time at Wisma BKBI, Jakarta. According to Devi, the award should have been given several weeks ago, but Ratu Hemas was still busy.
Devi said that as the Queen of Yogyakarta, Queen Hemas has given great attention toward reproductive issues. Hemas have critically address the issue of teenage sexuality. “Several of her policies have been very useful,” she said.
