Bogor Welcomes Jokowi, Regent Says

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Bogor Regent Bima Arya, said that the Bogor Palace is ready to accommodate President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, in case the Predient decided to move there. "I have heard that he plans to work in Bogor, although we have not had the memo," said Bima. "Anyway, it will be an honor to the people of Bogor."
Previously, State Secretary Andi Widjajanto said that the Presidential Palace is currently assessing the possibility for President Jokowi to stay in Bogor based on the fact that the Bogor Palace was often used by Jokowi to held meetings, particularly with Regional Heads.
Jokowi expects a regular meeting between him and all regents and mayors, at least twice a year.
Andi denied that the rumors stating that the President decided to move to Bogor because of the large number of visitors he had to meet at the Presidential Palace.
