TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Political observer at Paramadina Unversity Djayadi Hanan said that he gave a score of 6.5 for President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Jusuf “JK” Kalla performance in their first 100 days at the office. According to Djayadi, the score is enough to appreciate several economic policies made by Jokowi, including the fuel subsidy reallocation and the oil and gas governance.
“Despite the impacts [of such policies] have yet been apparent, I think they are good policies,” said Djayadi.
However, Djayadi gave a red mark for Jokowi and JK in terms of politics and justice. Djayadi said that Jokowi had made a fatal mistake by appointing Comr. Gen. Budi Gunawan, who was named as a suspect in a graft case, as the National Police chief candidate.
Djayadi also viewed that HM Prasetyo’s appointment as the General Attorney was not a solid decision since the General Attorney Office must be led by an individual with achievements. In addition to being a cadre of a political party, Djayadi viewed that HM Prasetyo has no significant achievements.
