TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - AC Milan began preparing several schemes for their winter transfer window, among which is to swap Fernando Torres with Alessio Cerci from Atletico Madrid.
Turin-based sports media Tuttosport reported the exchange will not be permanent but possibly a short-term loan.
Torres arrived in Milan on summer after being loaned by Chelsea. Despite having belted top player status, Torres is not getting any regular playing stints in Rossonerri. Even worse, El Nino scored only one goal in ten matches.
Tuttosport added that Milan offered the exchange as Torres had an emotional bonding with Atletico Madrid, where he began his career.
Cerci also has only few chances to play in Vicente Calderon. Since arriving from Torino this summer, he never scored and played only in six domestic matches.
