TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Manchester United showed its teeth by defeating Arsenal 2-1 in Premier League match at Emirates Stadium yesterday. The Red Devils now returns to the top 4 of the qualifier.


Playing away, the 3-5-2 strategy adopted by Red Devils could not penetrate The Gunners tight defense during the first half. Suicide goal by Arsenal back line player Kieran Gibbs at the 56th minute give United a lead.


United captain Wayne Rooney scored one more goal for his team in 85 minute to add up the gap. The Gunners managed to score one goal during the injury time through Olivier Giroud who has just came back from injury.


However, the score remained 2-1 until the game was ended and the Red Devils came home triumphantly while Arsenal was kicked out to the 8th place with 17 points.
